This half term we are enquiring into 'What does it take to lead an expedition?' Using William Grill's book 'Shackleton's Journey' we will be learning about the characteristics, actions and choices taken by an extraordinary leader.
I'm liking the use of a non fiction text to drive the unit and the use of a knowledge organiser, the summary is really helpful and the key facts will help structure the learning sequence. I am wondering whether as a tweak the vocabulary is split into the tier 2 and tier 3 words, to distinguish between the two?
