Eleanor's eyebrows asked Isaac to write a response from them to Eleanor. He did a fantastic job using fronted adverbials and conjunctions. Can you see where they have been used?
Dear Eleanor,
I’m writing
to tell you that we are ready to come back but we think it’s important that you
know where we have been.
Firstly, we
saw a sign advertising a job at the zoo, so we thought we would give it a try.
We were hairy like the caterpillars but no matter how hard we tried we couldn’t
make a cocoon.
Next, we
went to work for a magician but the tricks involved explosions so we left.
After that,
we went to be hand warmers for beautiful lady beetles although we were warm we
got all cramped up and left.
Later that
day, we found a job as false legs for an ant who wanted to be a spider but it
was boring so we left.
Almost
instantly, we were spinning on wheels of a stick insect’s motorbike but we flew
off so we moved on.
Eventually,
we got a job as an exclamation mark on an angry sign unfortunately we got
washed off.
We now hope
you realise how important we are.
See you soon
